The GCRC Caiman C1 has been designed around the Caiman C2C3 modern progressive geometry with Team testing and development whilst retaining a near straight swap over from an Element Enduro Builders Kit II / SCX10ii RAW Builders kit to create a highly capable Class 1 (UK GCRC Rules legal) LCG bringing your centre of gravity down significantly by lowering the transmission and getting rid of that un-sprung mass. The near direct Enduro compatibility means the conversion takes minimal effort or knowledge. 
Recommended Vader 10.2/Enduro 3 gear skid, STH laydown servo mount, RRCC Customs 70mm spacers
The Axial Basecamp AR45P and TRX4 Sport are also good candidates if you want a portal rig. Basecamp Skid can be re-used or a flat delrin one drilled to accommodate mounting the trans. For TRX4 we have a flat STH skid listed.

The platform also allows custom builds with most axles and skids for other transmissions. rails have axial skid mounting holes.

The chassis is designed around the GCRC C1 rules having a legal flat skid in T6 series 6082 rails (Stronger than commonly used 6061 but flexible enough to allow the pinch, 7075 alloy is not appropriate)

CONTENTS (NOT A KIT):
1 pair of sided rails in 6082 aluminium.


Note: Bumper mounting holes are different to the C2C3 v2.1. The C1 has standard spacing for more aftermarket choice. Roller bumper v2 modified to fit both chassis.  Cheater Bumpers avialble for both.
