GCRC Caiman BLACK FLATTAIL UK2/3 - Chassis rails (x2) T6 Aluminium

The Caiman Black FLATTAIL is a full custom build high performance LCG Crawler chassis suitable for both UK2 and UK3. The Caiman Team and other high profile drivers helped to develop this chassis with more clearance for bodies, a forward skid giving the ability for front lower links to be shorter than the 90mm minimum allowed for WRCCA rather than the standard minimum 90mm lowers the Caiman Black was designed upon. There was also a lot put into the design for a far cleaner aesthetic.

This is now the team choice of rail and has already secured many podiums through testing.

Stand out features:

The rails are designed around a 78mm skid giving maximum transmission and motor options which can be pinched to as little as 70mm spacers.

The chassis works with both straight and portal axles (axial, vanquish, meus etc)

The rails are 400mm x 3mm thick high quality, water cut T6 Aluminium rails presented in a tumbled finish.

The front shock hoops extend further back than the standard black chassis to allow shorter front links and the trimming back of the front of the rail for improved bumper approach angle.*

Front and rear of rails can be cut for UK3 use.*

The rear of the rails though flat is in fact 10mm higher than the front so no shock hoop is required.

Excellent body clearance.

15 degree skid angle / forward short skid for great breakover and climbing.
